She resided in Venice, FL, with her husband, Stanley Tarala, married November 21, 1943. Stanley and Stephanie enjoyed having two homes together, one in Paw Paw, MI and one in Venice, FL. Their home in Michigan was Stephanie's favorite, where she loved the view of the lake and marveled over Stanley's lush gardening and handy work. Her most enjoyable memories were dancing with her partner, Stanley (which was a passion they both shared) and celebrations with her family. Playing cards and bingo with lifelong friends and family were also favorite past times. Stephanie will be sadly missed by all. She will be remembered as a beloved wife to Stanley Tarala of over 66 years; a caring, loving and supportive mother to Joe (Diana) Tarala, Martin (Mary) Tarala, Maryanne (Kevin) Fearer and daughter, Yvonne Tarala who preceded her in 1992. Stephanie was also a special, fun-loving grandmother t! o Lisa Matlis, Amy Tarala, James (Kelli) Tarala, Kelly (Kevin) Thormahlen, Lindsey Dryden, Andrea (Brett) Skoog, Cassidy Fearer; and great grandmother to Joey and Alex Matlis, Morgan, Austin and Trenton Tarala, Rylee Thormahlen, Drake Dryden. In keeping with Stephanie's wishes there will be no visitation or services.
