    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Author: casay2150 Surnames: Pearce Pierce Cassor Howard Hamlin Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.michigan.counties.kalamazoo/25981.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Ok I just can't stand this!! Lawrence Southcotte Pearce wife was NOT NOT NOT Clarissa WHITE!!!!!!!! It's taken me MANY years to try to clear this up and the White name comes from one un-informed death record! Her name was Clarissa HAMLIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Source : Rev War Pension and other records!!!! Their son, Langworthy Pierce was NOT married to Sabrina Cassor!!!!!!! Where did this MIS- Information come from??? Whom ever put this together does NOT know this family at ALL!!! Sabrina Caroline Cassor was the daughter of James Cassor and Lettice Pearce. Lettice is the daughter of above Langworthy Pearce and Sabrina(we do NOT know her last name!!!) Also note Lettice's sister, Sarah Lettice Pearce whom married Jacob Coe is a different person although the site has them as one and the same... sigh..... Lettice was born 1796 and married James Cassor Sarah Lettice was born 1791 and married Jacob Coe Source - Birth and many many other records... Sabrina Caroline Cassor was the first wife of my 3rd great grandfather, Henry H. Howard. She was obviously named after her grandmother Sabrina but she is not her own grandmother.. sigh. Source, marraige and many other records Many of these people are buried in Prarie Home Cemetery in Climax. Sorry to be so frustrated but it pains me to see such old and inaccurate information on that site! Anyone associated directly with these families are welcome to contact me. I will say first though, I'm willing to SHARE information but "takers" don't bother to contact me. I'm tired of sharing so much information and years of research yet so many people never ever share back with the most basic of their information. I'll be donating all of my information one of these years to the Climax Library including all my information on Prairie Home Cemetery, Climax and Leroy Twp, Calhoun Co., families. I cannot correct all the wrong information on the Kalamazoogenalogy.org site on these families as it constitutes many many years of research. Please search this message board for much of the information I have shared on this family over the years trying to correct it all previously. I have to thank Wayne and Ardis for all their help over the years here and there helping to properly sort it out all the way out here in Colorado! Again, if interested search this message board for much corrected information I've already posted on this family. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
