She was a lifelong area resident and was employed for 34 years with Bronson Methodist Hospital until her retirement in 2009. Linda loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed attending many of their functions. She also enjoyed working outdoors in her yard. Surviving are her daughter, Lori (Jim) Orlowski of Byron Center; two sons, David (Robin) Koning of Kalamazoo and Michael (Deonna) Koning of Mattawan; seven grand-children, Amy, Amanda and Brock Orlowski, Alyssa and Jonathan Koning, Evan and Ryan Koning; two brothers, Don (Joan) Stamm of Portage and Henry "Butch" (Renee) Stamm of Mattawan; a sister, Jeri Caron of Kalamazoo; several nieces and nephews. Preceding Linda in death were her parents and two sisters, Pat Anderson and Joyce Frederickson. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-5 PM at the Langeland Family F! uneral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Avenue, where a memorial service to celebrate Linda's life will be held 1:00 PM Monday with her grandson, Brock Orlowski officiating.
