Karen was born on April 20, 1938 in Kalamazoo, MI the daughter of Leo and Irene McMorrow. Karen was a proud worker for Gibson Guitar and she also worked for and retired from National Waterlift. She enjoyed shopping, bowling and spending time with her family and most of all, spending time with her three dogs: Saddie, Bear and Koda and several cats. She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Kami E. Roberts. Karen is survived by a daughter, Staci Roberts of Kalamazoo; son/ grandson, Danny Newhouse of Kalamazoo; her five grandchildren, Travis Schrock, Shalana Anderson, Nichole Wilson, Joshua Bisher and Cheyanne Roberts and nine great grandchildren, Jaxson, Kameron, Taylor, Jacob, Aaron, Skylynn, Kaytra, Drake and David. Family and friends will be received Monday, March 1 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at: REDMOND Funeral Home 4100 S. Westnedge Ave. (269) 343-6156 Where Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 2, 2010. Reverend Dan Minor of Parchment United Methodist Church officiating. Cremation will take place following the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Redmond Funeral Home to assist with the funeral expenses.
