Kalamazoo, MI Died Sunday afternoon, February 28, 2010 at his residence. David was born September 18, 1958 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a son of Richard and Carolyn (Stenger) Tolhurst. David was a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and had been employed with the Galesburg Meat Company. He was preceded in death by his parents. David is survived by three brothers, Dennis Tolhurst, Douglas Tolhurst, and Joe Gettys all of Kalamazoo; a step sister, Lisa (Ed) Havenaar of Kalamazoo; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends may meet the family 6-8 PM Friday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. Private burial will take place at a later date.
