I could then check around a bit & try to see what's up. All of the info on that site is from Kalamazoo Co. records & the Kalamazoo Library. Most errors in death records come from family members who give incorrect info to the funeral homes or in older deaths it probably was given to a doctor who then submitted it to the Co. Clerk. With proper documentation you can have records changed but your documentation must be good. My grandfather is listed in the Kalamazoo Co. records as being married to his mother-in-law. That info came my Aunt who supplied the wrong info to the funeral home when he died. I have all the documentation to have it changed but haven't gotten around to it yet.
