(Hunt) Kalamazoo, MI Died Tuesday morning, February 23, 2010 at her residence. Madelyn was born June 28, 1950 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a daughter of Burdell and Arlene (Hodge) Hunt. She had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and was employed with Bronson Hospital for 15 years, retiring in 1995. She was also a member of the First Congregational Church in Otsego. Madelyn was preceded in death by her parents; and a nephew, Jason Gwynn. She is survived by two daughters, Priscilla and Jeffrey Stewart of Parchment and Katherine and Patrick Nelson of Comstock; three grandchildren, Kourtnie, Mary, and Jessica; and two sisters, Marcia Gwynn of Oshtemo and Marilyn and Michael LaDuke of Plainwell. Services will be held 1 o'clock Saturday from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 PM Friday. Private burial will take place in Riverside Cemetery at a later date.
