(Bessie) BUSHOUSE,Vicksburg, Died Monday, April 16, 1990 at River Forest Nursing Home, Three Rivers. Mrs. BUSHOUSE was born May 3, 1894 in Oosterbeke, The Netherlands, the daughter of John and Johanna (SCHOLTEN) MODDERMAN and had resided in Vicksburg since 1942. She was married to Peter BUSHOUSE in 1915, who preceded her in death in 1946. Surviving are 1 son, John James BUSHOUSE; and 1 daughter and her husband, Janet and Fred (Mel) BARRON, all of Vicksburg; 1 brother, Richard MODDERMAN of Laguna Hills, CA; 4 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, 2 brothers and 4 sisters preceded her in death. She was a member of the Vicksburg United Methodist Church. She enjoyed knitting, gardening and cooking. Friends may call at the Rupert-Durham Funeral Home, Vicksburg, A Forethought Member where the family will be present this evening from 7-9 and where services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m., with Rev. Dr. Lowell Walsworth officiatin! g. Interment in Riverside Cemetery.
