Mrs. KOSTER was born July 1, 1886 in Orangeville, daughter of Abraham and Helena PONS and had been a lifelong resident of this area. She was a member of the North Park Reformed Church. Her husband, Garrett, passed away in 1934. Surviving are: one son and four daughters, Mrs. Adrian (Helen) HEYSTEK, Mrs. Richard (Marian) BLUE, both of Kalamazoo, Mrs. Walter (Harriett) MAXWELL of Dayton, N.J., James KOSTER of Kalamazoo and Mrs. Henry (Bettijean) POSTHUMUS of Portage; 18 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Abraham PONS of Clearwater, Fla. and John PONS of Grand Rapids; several nieces and nephews. A son Neal KOSTER passed away in 1967. Memorial services will be held Tuesday at 1 o'clock at the Langeland Chapel, 622 S. Burdick, Rev. Ronald Geschwendt officiating. Interment, Riverside Cemetery. The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to the North Par! k [Reformed Church] Memorial Fund.
