Clair was born in Kalamazoo, May 6, 1923, the son of George E. and Ella (VEDMORE) WAGGONER and he retired in 1981 from the Upjohn Co. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in WW II. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, past Grand Knight of K. of C. Council 1616 3rd degree, Moose Lodge 88 and the V.F.W. Post 827. He enjoyed sports, especially baseball, golf and bowling. His is survived by his wife Marilyn L. (KINGSBURY) with whom he celebrated 44 years of marriage on July 26, 1991; 7 children and spouses, Colleen and Tom CRABIEL, Douglas WAGGONER, Mary and Mike JANSSEN, Dan WAGGONER, Debi WAGGONER, Tom and Donna WAGGONER, Tom and Donna WAGGONER and Greg WAGGONER; 4 brothers, Ted HARRIS, James WAGGONER, George WAGGONER JR. and William WAGGONER; 11 grandchildren. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. A memorial funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Church,! Thursday morning at 11 am, Father Michael Hazard celebrant. Interment of cremains in Ft. Custer Memorial National Cemetery.
