(Cummins) Of Kalamazoo Passed away Monday, April 7, 2008 at Borgess Medical Center. Vicki was born October 18, 1946 in Kalamazoo, the youngest daughter of Clair and Maxine (Bruley) Cummins. On June 14, 1969, she was united in marriage to Raymond "Gary" Westbrook, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Charlotte (Christopher) Gonzalez and Laura Westbrook; grandsons, Merlyn Shattuck, Phillip Shattuck and Joseph Gonzalez; mother-in-law, Alice "Genevieve" Westbrook; a special aunt and uncle, Betty and Delbert Hill; several sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws; many nieces, nephews and extended family. She will be greatly missed by her special pets, Little Lucy (dog) and Cally (cat). Vicki was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Clair and Bruce Cummins and a sister, Suzanne Westbrook. Inurnment of cremains will take place at Riverside Cemetery, where a graveside service will be held on Monday, April 28th at 1:00 PM. Graveside services will be conducted by Pastor John Kepler of the C! ovenant Church of Kalamazoo. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Kalamazoo Humane Society, 4239 S. Westnedge Ave., Kalamazoo, MI 49008. The family is being served by the Avink Funeral Home Cremation Society Schoolcraft Published in the Kalamazoo Gazette on 4/23/2008.
