Kalamazoo Dennis Kordish passed away unexpectedly Thursday morning, May 8, 2008 at his home. He was born August 6, 1946 in Munising, MI the son of the late Victor Kordish and the late Dagne Kordish. Dennis received his Juris Doctorate degree from Thomas Cooley Law School and BS and BA degrees from Aquinas College. He was employed as an attorney at Randall L. Brown and Associates PLC. Dennis served his country with a 16-year career in the U.S. Army Reserve and Army National Guard. In addition, he served in an Army Aviation unit deployed to Kuwait for Desert Storm and served two combat tours in Vietnam. He held commercial air pilot certification and enjoyed aviation. He was a 4th degree Knight of Columbus and enjoyed serving his community. He was extremely well liked by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Dr. Theresa Kordish; brother, Victor Kordish; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and several nieces and nephews. A memorial mass will be celebrated 11AM Friday May 2! 3, 2008 at St. Monica's Catholic Church in Kalamazoo. A military graveside service will be held 10AM Wednesday May 21, 2008 at Ft. Custer National Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Monica's Catholic Church.
