Of Kalamazoo Departed this life April 22, 2008 at his residence. Larry was born May 9, 1955 in Paw Paw, Michigan to Ernest and Carol Hassler. Larry had a great zeal for life. He enjoyed playing his guitar, playing chess with his sons, fishing and cooking. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Larry leaves behind to forever cherish his memory, two Sons, Ricky and Rodney Hassler of Kalamazoo, MI; Mother Carol Hassler of Battle Creek, MI; sisters, Erneen (Tony) Maddok of Montgomery, AL, Florence (Jim) Love of North Carolina; Christal (Chris) Landry of Montgomery, AL; two brothers, Ernie (Cherle) Hassler of Kalamazoo, MI; Allen (Linda) Hassler of Paw Paw, Michigan. Ex-Wife and Special friend Marie of Kalamazoo, MI., along with nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In accordance with Larry's wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service will take place at a later date. Memorial contributions may be directed to Larry's sons.
