Ted, born in France, was a worldwide traveler and owner of several travel agencies in the Kalamazoo and Richland areas. He has lived in Richland and Delton for the past 45 years. Ted is survived by his children, E. Mark (Margaret) Tilbury of Vicksburg, Timothy J.(Linda) Tilbury of Delton, Christina (Kent) Tilbury Jones of Delton and Stefan (Erin) Tilbury of Richland; 10 grandchildren; his sisters, Dorothy Decroix of France, Jeanine Armstrong of England and his brother, Robert Tilbury of Switzerland. A memorial gathering will take place at the Farley Estes & Dowdle Richland Chapel, 9170 East D Ave. (M-89) from 3:30 - 5:00 PM Friday, May 2, 2008. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Heritage Community Memory Care, 2400 Portage Rd., Kalamazoo or S.W. Michigan Land Conservancy, 6851 S. Sprinkle Rd., Portage.
