Owner of property was Stanley and Agnes Turburski. Stanley was a baker. Also residing at that address was Edward M. and Eugene M. Turburski, both laborers. (This book shows Edward M. and Eugene M.'s last names as Turburski; pronounced Tyburski). 1943 Kalamazoo City Directory: None listed. 1946 Kalamazoo Telephone Directory: Eugene Majdan, resided at 711 Fletcher Pl. 1947 Kalamazoo City Directory: Edward Majdan, factory worker for Kalamazoo Stove and Furnace Company, resided at 711 Fletcher Pl. Also residing at that address was Eugene Majdan, laborer. Owner of property was Stanley and Agnes Turburski. Stanley was a baker at Stanley's Rye & Pumpernickel Bread Company. 1948 Kalamazoo City Directory: Edward Majdan, wife was Mildred H. He was a sheet metal worker, owned home at 707 Washburn Ave. Gene Majdan, plater, resided at 711 Fletcher Pl. Owner of property was Stanley and Agnes Turburski. Stanley was a baker. 1952 Kalamazoo City Directory: Edward Majdan, wife was Mildred A. He was a welder for Kalamazoo Stove and Furnace Company. She was a waitress at Gold Post, owned home at 707 Washburn Ave. Eugene J. Majdan, wife was Antoinette J. He was a plater, owned home at 2236 Regent. 1953-54 Kalamazoo City Directory: Edward Majdan, wife was Mildred. He was a welder for Checker Cab Manufacturing Company, owned home at 707 Washburn Ave. Eugene J. Majdan, wife was Antonette. He was a chrome plater for Precision Casting, owned home at 2236 Regent. 1955 Kalamazoo City Directory: Edward Majdan, wife was Mildred. He was a welder for Checker Cab Manufacturing Company, owned home at 1111 Forbes. Eugene J. Majdan, wife was Antoinette J. He was a chrome plater for Precision Casting, owned home at 2236 Regent. You probably have this information already.... Antoinette (Toni) Sukach Lambert married Eugene J. Majdan in November of 1949. ("Lambert" might have been her first marriage?).
