Candy succumbed to breast cancer and had been treated by compassionate physicians in both Michigan and Arizona. Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan tended both Candy and her family during her last days. Candy was born to Carol Fewless (Hite) of Augusta and Robert Allen Kogler of Marion, Michigan on March 20, 1972 in Cadillac, Michigan. Candy's early childhood was spent in Marion and Cadillac. She attended Marion Elementary School, St. Ann's School in Cadillac, and Immaculate Conception School in Three Rivers, Michigan. She graduated from Portage Northern High School in 1990. She attended Davenport College in Grand Rapids, Michigan and Kalamazoo Valley Community College. A road trip with a friend in 1994 took Candy to Seattle where she developed a love of the city and as Candy so often did, instantly decided to make her home there; developing a close network of friends and! co-workers. She worked initially, in a day care center and then in the computer industry. Her work in the area of setting up data centers led her to a year-long assignment in Berlin, Germany, where she immediately was taken by the beauty of that city. She had the pleasure of living in the home of a German family and enjoyed traveling throughout Europe. She relocated to Phoenix, Arizona, in 2006, to work as a mortgage lender with a group of brokers whom she had met in Seattle. Candy is survived by her mother, Carol Fewless (Hite) of Augusta; her father, Robert Allen Kogler of Marion, Michigan; grandfathers, Orlan Fewless of Kalamazoo and Joe Crane of Marion. Her grandmothers, Dorothy Fewless and Dorothy Crane, as well as her aunt, Sunday Fewless and cousin, Brian Cheney, preceded her in death. She is also survived by a large group of aunts, uncles, cousins and wonderful friends.
