Of Byron Center, MI Formerly of Portage Died Sunday morning, April 27, 2008 in Byron Center, MI. Mary was born September 27, 1927 in Winchester, OH, a daughter of William and Glenna (Kinett) Lanter. She had been a West Lake Portage resident for 36 years before moving to Byron Center, MI, in 2007. She married Hubert D. Bottenfield in February 15, 1947, who preceded her in death in 2003. She was also preceded by her parents; a son, Larry G. Bottenfield in 1989; four sisters and two brothers. She is survived by two sons, Kenneth D. (Renee Zimmerman) Bottenfield both of Elkhart, IN and Michael D. (Lynnette) Bottenfield of Byron Center, MI; four grandchildren, Rodney (Laura) Bottenfield of Maple Grove, MN, Chad Bottenfield of Madison, AL, Ashley (Brian) Lyzenga of Wyoming, MI and Aften Bottenfield of Byron Center, MI; two great-grandchildren, Laurissa and Lucas Bottenfield of Maple Grove, MN; a sister, Bertha (Romie) Conn of Vandalia, OH; a brother-in-law, Bill Harper of West Union, OH; and many nieces, nephews, cousi! ns, friends and neighbors. Services will be held 1 o'clock Thursday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Ave. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the chapel.
