Mrs. OZANICH was born May 30, 1921 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Joseph and Mary (LEU) FARRELL. She was a lifelong resident of Kalamazoo, and was a resident of Kalamazoo, and was a graduate of Kalamazoo Central High School. She was a professional seamstress at her home and in 1962 made the first "Maroon Giant" mascot for Kalamazoo Central High School. On January 3, 1946 she was united in marriage to Anthony A. "Tony" OZANICH, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters. Surviving are 2 children and their spouses, Nanette and Jim PETERS of New Era, MI, Richard and Sandie OZANICH of Kalamazoo; 4 grandchildren, Matthew C. and Colin J. OZANICH, both of Kalamazoo, Shannon M. DOYLE of Enfield, CT, Jennifer J. PETERS of East Lansing; 1 brother, John Pierpont FARRELL of Chicago, IL. Cremation will take place and there will be no public visitation o! r service. Interment of cremated remains at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.
