WEBBER, 6655 Wiltshire Cross Dr., passed away Monday morning Sept. 17, 1973. Mr. WEBBER was born Oct 6, 1916, in Kalamazoo, son of William and Jennie WEBBER and had been a lifelong resident here. Mr. WEBBER was employed by Sears Roebuck & Co. He had served in the Army during World War II and was the Post Quartermaster of the VFW Portage Post 5855. He was also Past Commander of the Post. Surviving are his wife, Josephine; one step-son, Leroy HUNKINS of Portage; one granddaughter, Tracey HUNKINS; his mother, Mrs. Jennie BARCHMAN of Hastings; 2 sisters, Mrs. Petrilla MARTZ of Hastings and Mrs. Patricia June CARLYLE of Portage; several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held Wednesday at 1 o'clock at the Langeland Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre, Pastor Louis W. Grother of the Zion Lutheran Church, officiating. Interment in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery with military honors by VFW Portage Post No. 5855.
