Jean was born October 20, 1926 in Three Rivers, the daughter of Ross and Wilma (HEALY) REAM. Jean did volunteer work for the Salvation Army and the Edison Community Center. She married Dale EVERTS, who preceded her in death in 1990. Surviving are 3 daughters, Shirley and Richard PERCY of Detroit, Sharon and Wesley SCHMITT of Schoolcraft and Susan and Tony VALENZUELA of Phoenix, AZ; 7 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; a sister, Marjorie and Raymond HORA of Three Rivers; and 2 nieces. She was preceded in death by her grandson, John Wesley SCHMITT in 1994. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Avink Funeral Home Schoolcraft where Services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, April 18, 1997 with Rev. Dwight Burton, of the Stockbridge Avenue United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment at Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery.
