Bill was born March 5, 1925 in Holland, Michigan a son of William and Martha (Bouwkamp) Selles. He had been a Kalamazoo area resident since 1964 and was employed with Kalamazoo Christian Schools for 25 years before retiring. He was also a member of Heritage Christian Reformed Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Robert Selles; two sisters, Anne and Kathryn; and a brother, Bert. On June 21, 1952, he was united in marriage to Helen M. (Hoekstra) Selles who survives. Also surviving, a son, Bill (Sandra) Selles of Kentwood, MI; two daughters, Betty (Edward) Prusinski of Mishawaka, IN and Mary (Jim) Nywening of Elkhart, IN; a daughter-in-law, Jean Selles of Manhattan, MT; 15 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Helene Kooi of Grand Rapids and Maxine (Willard) Haak of Kalamazoo; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services will be held 11 o'clock Monday at the Heritage Christian Reformed Church, 2857 South 11th St. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 PM Sunday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th St. Interment will be in Pilgrim Home Cemetery, Holland.
