Todd was born August 31, 1964 in Kalamazoo, the son of Sandra ROELLCHEN and Thomas ROEHLLCHEN. A 1982 graduate of Loy Norrix High School, he attended Albion College and Michigan State University, and MSU-College of Osteopathic Medicine. He graduated from medical school in 1994. He was in his third year of Family Practice residency in Tucson, Arizona. In addition to his pure joy and zest for living, he exhibited a deep sense of loyalty and devotion to his friends, family and patients. Todd leaves many supportive friends and family members. In addition to his parents, he is survived by one brother, Thomas J. "T. .J." ROEHLLCHEN; sisters, Lisa ROEHLLCHEN and Julia KOESTNER; two grandmothers, Cleo Patrick and Anne ELZEY; one great-grandmother, Magdalene ELZEY; two nephews, Elijah ROELLCHEN and Elzey ROEHCHEN-RITCHIE; and several loving aunts, uncles and cousins. He will be missed by all who knew him. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 14th, 1987 at S. Monica's Church, 534 West Kilgore, Kalamazoo. In accordance with his wishes cremation has already taken place. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Todd ROELLCHEN Fund made payable to the Kalamazoo Foundation, 332 Comerica Bldg., Kalamazoo MI 49007. The funds will be used to assist in furthering alchohol awareness and/or medical school training.
