She grew up in the Vicksburg area and graduated from Vicksburg HIgh School in 1972. After high school she was married to Bob GETTYS. They had 2 sons, Jason and his fiance', Amy SHULTZ of Vicksburg, and Jeff of Portage. Bob and Diane were divorced in 1982. Diane enjoyed bowling and played on several area leagues. Family was very important to Diane. She also loved all the Holidays. She would begin decorating for each holiday several months in advance. She was a hard worker, loved to help people and was liked by everyone. On March 28, 1987 she was married to Dale RICHARDS. Diane's family also includes her parents, William and Dorcas EBERSTEIN of Vicksburg; 1 sister, Maria and her husband, Mike WADSWORTH of Constantine; three brothers, Bill of Vicksburg. Todd and his wife, Sue of Portage, and Larry of Oshtemo; a grandson, Tyler SHULTZ; 1 niece and 3 nephews. Diane die! d in Kalamazoo on Tuesday, August 18, 1997 after a short battle with cancer. Friends may spend time with Diane's family on Wednesday from 3-5 and 7-9 at the Rupert, Durham, Marshall & Gren Funeral Home, Vicksburg Chapel where a Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in McKain Cemetery.
