Died July 2, 2008. Marjorie Wilson Brundage was born to Bertha and Leonard Wilson in Riverside, Illinois. She married Herbert O. Brundage June 24, 1939. Marjorie and Herbert were the parents of four children, Linda (Ralph Kron), Alan (Barbara), Lee (Nancy) and Garry. Alan predeceased her. She was blessed with seven grandchildren, Gretchen (Michael) and John (Amy) VanArsdale, Herbert (Mary), Timothy (Kristin), Bradley (Natalie), Elizabeth (Tony) and Michael (Sara) Brundage. as well as seven great- grandchildren. Following her husband's sudden death in 1960, she began her career as the Director of the Kalamazoo County Council of Churches, the LIFT Foundation and the Comstock Community Center. During her tenure, the Community Center developed many programs and built a building. After her retirement in 1978, she continued to be involved in community service particularly at Loaves and Fishes and the Richland Community Library. Memorial Services will be held Saturday July 5, 2008 at 10 AM at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 855 Grove Street in East Lansing. A second service will be held at the Presbyterian Church in Richland where she was a member for 60 years at 3 PM on July 5, 2008. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: Loaves and Fishes, the Richland Community Library or charity of your choice. Published in the Kalamazoo Gazette on 7/4/2008.
