SPEALMAN, Kalamazoo, MI, died Sunday morning, August 10, 1997. Phinnias was born February 28, 1906 in Leonidas, MI, the son of Harry and Laura Lea (ULRICH) SPEALMAN. During his lifetime he was a master carpenter, using his talents as a builder, subcontractor, and cabinet maker. He was a member of the Kalamazoo Moose Lodge #88. He was preceded in death by his wife, Treva F. SPEALMAN in 1985; by a granddaughter, Laura KEHOE in February of 1997; & a brother, Stanley; and a great-grandson. Surviving are his daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Gene BRODHAGEN of Kalamazoo; four grandsons and spouses, Gordon (Brenda), John (Karen), Dan, and David (Deidre); 7 great-grandchildren; a brother, Earl (Lillian) SPEALMAN of Mendon. Services will be held 11:00 Wednesday at Langeland Family Funeral Homes Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. with Rev. Dr. James Morgan, of Milwood United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. The ! family will receive friends at the chapel on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
