Mr. WYKSTRA was born May 20, 1889, in Cutlerville, son of the late Arnold and Effie WYKSTRA. He farmed in the Martin area for 18 years, later owned and operated a gas station in Martin and came to Kalamazoo 11 years ago, and was employed by the Board of Education for 7 years until his retirement. Mr. WYKSTRA was a member of the Third Christian Reformed Church. He is survived by his wife, Lyda; five sons and three daughters, Mrs. Marie BISHOP of Martin, Mrs. Ethel SYTSMA of Moline and Mrs. Violet LEEP of Martin, Arnold, Clarence and Charles of Kalamazoo, William of Cutlerville and Anthony of Martin; two step-sons, Ivan and Kenneth STAHL of Kalamazoo; a brother-in-law, Nick KRAAIMA of Martin; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Sadie WYKSTRA of Denver, Color. and Mrs. Rena WYKSTRA of Grand Haven; 39 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A son, John preceded him in d! eath Dec. 15, 1963. Services will be held Saturday at 1 o'clock at the Langeland Memorial Chapel, Dr. Leonard Greenway officiating. Interment in East Martin Cemetery.
