    1. [MIKALAMA] Do you enjoy cemeteries and helping others?
    2. Greetings, Do you enjoy strolling in cemeteries, reading & researching old grave markers and helping others? If so, our project is right for you. In June 2006 we began a Kalamazoo Cemetery project and are continuing to do a fantastic job. This effort takes a lot of work. We have indexed almost 100,000 burials and our website has had over 12,000 hits. We have helped people throughout the United States, the Netherlands and even recently England. We have been noted as having one of the best cemetery sites on the Internet, if not the best. Our goal is to have as complete and accurate records as possible. Our project opportunities are: Photography; requires a digital camera Transcribing from digital photos Proofing; walking cemeteries to verify our transcribed data Spring is quickly approaching and it is time for us to begin another season of cemetery work. We have a great group of volunteers, but there is always room for more. We have fun with the project as not to make it a chore to accomplish. If you or someone you know would love to join our project, send us a reply to kalamazoocem@aol.com. We'd love to talk to you more about our project.
