They do they just a bit long to load up. I am having trouble to see Agata MUDRAKOVA - that is the spelling if she was Bohemian, EI manifest. I obviously do not know how to get to view both pages. No such village/town named Roketnice in Czech Republic. Why is there no notation of the INS clerk with her naturalization petition and a date of naturalization like I have seen others have? So than English was their common language. Still a puzzle to me as why Poland and Czechoslovakia. If it turns out that she was born in present Czech Republic, you will need to hire a research in Cz to go to the archive or go there yourself. On 1930 census, what is her language? I was sort of suspecting that it could be Szczebrzeszyn but not being Polish ancestry did not want to speculate. Not a simple spelling of a village so most likely that is why Lubsizzin/Stipsezin on the EI manifests. 37 people did come thru EI from correctly spelled Szczebrzeszyn. www.stevemorse.org used Gold form this is a small town with 5357 inhabitants. http://mapa.szukacz.pl http://lazarus.elte.hu/hun/digkonyv/topo/200e/41-51.jpg left side of the map below the word Russland above small 40 Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Do you have both of their naturalization petitions? Possible that English was already their common language BUT I am having a bit of difficult time accepting that one was Bohemian and one Polish. Possible, not impossible. If only I could locate the villages they were from. I would think that their naturalization petition would have a much better spelling of the village they were born in. Have you actually seen the Agata's EI manifest? I do hope you are being notified about all my posts to you. Sometimes it does happen that one might not be notified about a post.
