Funeral was held at the country home Saturday __________ Obituary - same paper Lucy M. Taylor was born March 17, 1841 in Livingston Co., NY. At the age of eleven years she came with her parents to Schoolcraft, Kalamazoo Co., MI where she resided until her marriage to Josiah Dean, May 24, 1860. They resided at Augusta, Michigan, until 1872 then removing to the farm west of Climax where she departed this life Sept 27 1906, age 65 years 6 months , ten days. Mr. Dean having passed away July 2, 1896. Deceased leaves to mourn her loss one daughter, Jennie A. Fairchild of South Haven, Mich.; a step-daughter, Sarah M. [Andrew] Winches, of Jackson , Michigan and a step-son, Hiram A. Dean, of California; also 5 grandchildren, Earl D. and Grace Fairchild, Homer and Myrtle Winches, and Mrs. Grace Browne and a sister , Mary A. Harr*s of Kalamazoo. She also leaves a sister in law, Mrs. Louisa L. Dean who has made her home with her for the past 26 years, besides a host of relative and Friends.
