Julia married Elijah Crane on 4-14-1834 in Oswego County, NY. Elijah and Julia had the following children: Melissa (b. 4-27-1837), Helen (b. 6-20-1838), Arminta Reconcile (b. 12-9-1839), Livia Ann (b. 8-28-1841; d. 12-10-1863), Ervin E. (b. 11-15-1842; d. 1-8-1887) and Melvin A. (b. 9-16-1844; d. 6-??-1920). All the children were born in Michigan. I know Julia had the following siblings: David Howlett (son Frank and daughters Lottie and Lucy) and Elon Howlett (wife Ruby). David moved from NY to Michigan after his first wife died, while Elon Howlett remained in Oswego County, NY. Any additional information on these Howletts would be greatly appreciated.
