He had been injured in a mining accident in Streater, Illinois at some time and moved to Jackson Michigan. He is said to have passed away in Jackson. George had a brother, Henry CHEESMOND, brother, Robert and a brother William Thomas, a sister, Mary Jane CHEESMOND. and a sister Margaret (Mary) CHEESMOND. George was b. September 13, 1857, in England and died in Jackson. I don't have a date for his death. He married a girl in Streater Illinois named Anna Manning,.December 19, 1887.
