Hi, I'm new to the list, and looking for info on Johnson SPONSLER b. 1883 in Ohio. Through many twists and turns, I've discovered that my Emma CAMPBELL may have married Johnson after his first wife M. Icy (b.1884 in OH) died between 1923-30. The family lived in Leoni from 1918-1930 (at least). Johnson and his first wife had 7 children: 1. Lowell b. 1905 in OH 2. Russell b. 1907 in OH 3. Monola (sp?) b. 1910 in OH 4. James b. 1913 in MI 5. Maud b. 1915 in MI 6. Mary b. 1917 in MI 7. Margarite b. 1920, d. bef. 1923 in Leoni My main interest is in Emma, who I found with Johnson in the 1930 census, along with his children from his previous marriage to Icy. I also found Johnson living on Route 9 in the 1918-1923 Jackson County Directory. He was listed as a carpenter with 6 children. At the time his wife was listed as M. Icy. Emma Campbell b. 1884 in Michigan. Parents both b. Canada. Brother named John F. Campbell b. 1873 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Emma was named in her brother's obit in 1948 as married to Johnson Sponsler in Leoni. Is anyone else doing research on this family? ~Michelle
