I am very interested in some Ionia County ancestry and would like to do some city directory searching across 20 years, or more, starting in the early 1920s. I live in the Detroit area. Could anyone suggest someplace closer to home for such hands on looking? If I do need to physically head out to Ionia County, where is the best location(s) for accessing as many of these directories as possible?
