    3. Hi Everyone- I thought I'd pass along something I've been doing for a few years now. I make 4x6" copies of pictures of one or two of my ancestors and send them along in my siblings' and the appropriate aunts' and uncles' Christmas cards. On the back, I write the names of the person or people in the pictures, the date (if I have it), and how the person/people in the picture are related to the person I'm sending it to. This is my way of sharing a little genealogy with family members who otherwise don't care about it. They enjoy looking at these pictures to see if there's a family resemblance. Now after a few years, they each have a little collection of pictures. And who knows? Maybe many years from now a descendant of theirs will find these pictures stuffed away somewhere and feel like they've hit a gold mine. A few things to remember- the photo shop needs a few days to do the work, it will take you time to write the info on the back of the picture, and you need to buy Christmas cards large enough to hold your picture(s). ( Most Christmas cards are are big enough for a 4x6 picture.) There's still time to do this, this year. Happy Holidays! -Deb Trinter
