The cemetery at Riverside is still there and yes, the inmates keep it mowed. I have been there several times. It is in the back of the prison, near the maintenance shop. You have to stop at the main prison and ask for permission to go back there (or else, one of the tower guards might take a shot at you) :-) I have asked numerous times, and no one seems to know if and where there might be records. I did some research for a person whose ancestor died while at the prison, when it was the State Institution for mentally ill. When I actually got as far as seeing his death record, it seems the body was given to the medical director of the facility for "research". I wanted to see if his remains had been placed in that little cemetery after the research was completed. I did not find any names on any of the markers.
