I noticed that there are no death records available on microfilm at the LDS centers. Can someone please tell me how I can access a death that took place between 1900-1920? If it means coming to a court house, I will do that. Thank you so much. Barbara Lewis
You can order the record directly from the county clerk's office. The address is: Ionia County Clerk Courthouse 100 Main Street Ionia, MI 48846 Certified copies are $10 per page - genealogy copies are $1 per page. For more information on this office, visit the following web site. http://sos.state.mi.us/history/archive/county/ionia.html Pam Swiler, President Ionia County Genealogical Society At 10:28 AM 9/2/2001 -0600, you wrote: >I noticed that there are no death records available on microfilm at the >LDS centers.
