Smith, 87, of Lansing died Jan. 17, 1992. Mrs. Smith had been a resident of Lansing for the past year, coming from Cheboygan. Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Riley of Lansing; a brother, Howard Woods of Royal Oak; a sister, Annella Wheelock of South Lyons; eight grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, George, and two daughters, Helen Stephens and Dorothy Anderson. Services were held from the Holihan-Atkin Funeral Home, Grand Ledge, with Rev. Isaac Ihiasota officiating. Memorial contributions acan be made tot he St. James Episcopal Church of Cheboygan.
