Surnames: Wiggins, Golden Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/hFB.2ACE/1054 Message Board Post: I have found on Ancestry.com the 1910 census record for George M. Parker and wife Bertha M. (Wiggins) Parker along with her brothers, David E. Wiggins and Vern E. Wiggins. I would like to find a marriage record for David E. Wiggins to Alice or Olive (last name unknown). The marriage could have either been in Ingham County or Genesee County sometime between 1910 and 1915. I would also like to locate records regarding their parents. I have the father's name as Thomas Wiggins born in Canada about 1862, moved to United States in 1885. He was never naturalized. Both of his parents were born in Ireland. I've done alot of research online for US records, but never foreign records. Any help in this area would be greatly appreciated. Questions: 1. For a marriage in Michigan in the time period of 1910 - 1915, would I write to the county or the state for the record? 2. How do I obtain birth records from Canada? Would there have been birth records required in 1862? How would I be able to narrow down what part of Canada he was born in? 3. How do I obtain a marriage record from Canada if one exists? 4. Are there any other options besides the birth record and the marriage record to find out his Thomas's parent's names? Thank you!
