Hudson, Danny B. Lansing (veterans flag) Age 66, died July 14, 1998. Born March 17, 1932 in Mt. Pleasant. Mr. Hudson retired in 1992 from the City of Lansing Parks and Recreation Department as a Greenskeeper, after 27 years of faithful service. After his retirement he was employed as a custodian by the Plymouth Congregational Church (UCC). He was a veteran of the United States Army during the Korean Conflict serving with the 863rd Transport Company. He was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Surviving are his wife of 42 years, Laura F. (Heiden); 2 daughters, Connie L. Savrey and Diann L. Dean both of Lansing; 3 sons, Jimmy B. (Cindy), Dave R. and Danny J. (Jodi) all of Lansing. 13 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 17, 10 a.m. at the Gorsline-Runciman Co. Lansing Chapel, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing with the Rev. Roger N. Pohl, Pastor of Pilgrim Congregational Church (UCC), officiating. Interment will follow in East Lawn Memory Gardens, Okemos. Friends may call at the Chapel beginning Thursday 2 p.m. where the family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
