Raymond was a resident of Florida for 20 years. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Navy, and retired as Deputy Chief from the Lansing Fire Department. Raymond enjoyed yard work, landscaping, shuffleboard, boating and fishing and he loved to dance. He was a member of the Elks Club, the Eagles Club and the American Legion. Raymond was preceded in death by his wife, Patty Lou; and his twin brother, Richard. Surviving are his daughter, LeeAnn (Michael) Claussen of Kalamazoo; son, Mathew (Kerry) Miller of Holt; grandchildren, Andrew (Jennifer) Claussen and Casey (William) Bernhard, both of Tucson, AZ, and Dustin and Christian Miller, both of Holt; great-grandchildren, Peter, Brigetta and Ava Bernhard; brother, John Miller; sister, Catherine Weinman; sister-in-law, Joan Miller; and his special friend, Ruby the dog. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 20, at noon at ! the Gorsline-Runciman Funeral Home, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing, phone # 517-482-1533. Interment will follow in Deepdale Memorial Gardens, Lansing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 4-7 p.m. and on Sunday from 6-8 p.m. Those desiring may make contributions to the Lansing Fire Administration, 120 E.
