Of Mason Passed away Sunday, November 20, 2005 at the age of 93 years. Surviving are three sons, Paul B. (Ruth A.) Hays, Alan R. (Kil Nam) Hays, and Jack Green; daughter, Wanda Green; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and sister, Marian Gibson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul B. Hays; son, Richard Beckman Hays; three brothers and two sisters. Doritha was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She spent the past several years knitting over four hundred caps for babies in the hospital. She loved to read and was a talented artist, painting many oil paintings. Funeral Services will be noon Wednesday at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel, Holt, MI. Interment will follow at Prairie Home Cemetery, Richland. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may direct memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
