Alexander Rawson Ball was a homepathic physician as well as a professor, registrar and a trustee, of the Michigan Homepathic College, at Lansing, Michigan. Their children were Warren Weld Ball, Eunice Ball, Hannah Bell Ball, Alexander Rawson Ball, Jr., Deliah Ball, Mary Ball, Aaron Elkano Ball, Martha Ball, Fanny Estella Ball, and Maude Ball. Information indicates that all of these children were born in Mason, Ingham, Michigan between 1848 and 1864 Also, their daughter, Hannah Bell Ball, also was a homepathic phyician in Michigan. Records show that their daughter Deliah BALL married George Homer JONES on November 2, 1874 in Ingham, Michigan. Our line comes from Aaron Elkano Ball who moved to Dakota Territory as a young man to find his fortunes, where he is in the 1880 Kingsbury, DT census. He married Amelia GERNER there in October 1882.
