My great Aunt was Sarah Louise (Tainter) Jeffords who married Nathan Gleason Filmore Jeffords of Leslie, Ingham County, MI. They are listed in the 1870 MI census online, in Leslie. She sometimes goes by Louise. Jeffords is spelled "Jefferds", you can view the census online & it is indexed. 1870 MI census via Library of MI. Nathan died in 1897. Louise lived in Kalamzazoo, MI, in 1900 census. John P. Clickner was married to Lucinda Jeffords. John Clickner lived next to my gr grandparents, Daniel & Eliza (Hull) Tainter, in Charlevoix County, MI. Boyne City, Evangeline Township. Daniel Jeffords (b. 1797) was father of Nathan (b. 1833 in NY) & I believe father of Lucinda Jeffords. I hope this helps you. Marilyn.
