Haslett Age 82, died March 13, 1977. He was born March 7, 1895 in Linton, Indiana and had been a resident of the Lansing area for 57 years. He is survived by his wife Anna; 2 daughters, Mrs. Eloise Crandall of Drayton Plains, and Mrs. Larry (Betty) Somerville of Holt; 3 sons, Elden V. of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Kenneth L. of Williamston, Donald E. of Torrance, Calif.; 16 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; a brother Rev. Lawrence Taylor of Dimondale; and sisters, Mrs. Bernice Bryan of Lansing, Mrs. Ruth Strong of Southgate. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at the Gorsline-Runciman East Chapel, East Lansing with graveside services at the Ottawa Park Cemetery in Waterford twp. Rev. Lawrence Taylor, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Haslett will officiate.
