I have been trying to determine her surname but have had no luck yet. Her death certificate lists her mother as being Ida Mae and father as Edward SNELL. But on her SS-5 she lists her mother as Clara (unknown). I am leaning toward the info on the SS-5 for obvious reasons. Her death certificate info would have been to say the least third handed info at best. Her birth is continually listed as 16 Sep 1893, Kalamazoo, Kalamazoo County, Michigan. After searching more I have found that the Birth index of 1873-1915 is available only at the Library of Michigan, Lansing. Is there any one available that is willing to do a look up for me? I am willing to pay for the research, copies etc. I live in Las Vegas, NV so it is a little difficult for me to do it myself.
