I had always heard stories about the house and am trying to obtain some information regarding when it was built etc. I do know I can get alot of info from the property appraisers, but I currently live in Florida and the online access is limited. There are several stories I grew up hearing about the house. I've heard that the house was relocated when 127 was built, that the staircase in the front hall was once in a courthouse. I always wondered where it was originally built and moved from. If I remember correctly the address was 1871. It was the first house heading north after the Barnes Rd exit.
