In the book "Leslie, A Place In Time, it mentions that James Holland Harkness and his wife Jane Eliza (Overacker) Harkness had a son Guy Harkness who would have been born between 1885 and 1893. Yet, I have never found that son anywhere nor a death certificate or found him listed on the census. The family moved to South Dakota around 1891 and then on to Washington by 1900. How can I find out if there was a child named Guy? Thanks Norma Harkness

    3. Norma Does the book on Leslie list a John W Wilcox who lived in Leslie from about 1855 until his death in 1911. His children were: Charles, John, Mary, Martha, Bryon and Melissa.
