One thing to always remember is to be nice, polite and gracious even though they are not capable of being the same. If you know your are planning on going back bring some cookies, or flowers. Write a thank you letter. Part of the problem is that some genealogists in the past have been not very nice people. They are simply putting all genealogists in the same catagory.
