COON Oren L. COON, 64, died at the home, 131 Louis street, East Lansing, Monday morning after a three months illness. He was born in Meridian township and had lived in Lansing and vicinity for the past 25 years. He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Edna [WARDWELL] COON; and two sons, Wayne COON of East Lansing and Hershel COON of Detroit; two daughters, Mrs. Harvey BECKLEY of Lansing and Mrs. Karl REICHMANN of Flint; two brothers, Charles COON of Mason and Robert COON of Pensac[o]la, Fla.; three sisters, Mrs. Lillian FREET of Perry, Mrs. May SMITH and Mrs. Alseda MOORE of Lansing; and 11 grandchildren. The body was removed to the Robinson-Barbier funeral home where funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1 o'clock. Interment will be in Hillcrest cemetery, Owosso.
