Cedar st., died Monday at a local hospital following a stroke several days ago. She was hospitalized Aug. 10. Mrs. BURGESS was born Jan. 19, 1885, in Lapeer county, and had been a resident of Lansing for 35 years. Surviving are the husband, Philo; three daughters, Mrs. Betty M. MONGAR of Pewamo, Mrs. Katherine R. STRAYER and Miss Florence Lucille BURGESS, both of Lansing; two stepsons, Philo and Albert, both of Lansing, and 17 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held from the Gorsline-Runciman funeral home at 1 p.m. Wednesday with interment at Lakeside cemetery, Lake Odessa.
